Mountains in N.Z

There are loads of mountains in New Zealand.
Name as many as you can and see who gets the most.
Also name the tallest mountain in N.Z.

Field trip

On Wednesday the Room5ians went on a field trip.
We went to the river,museum and the library.
We asked all sorts of questions and shared our ideas.We even got to be on TV.
It was an awesome trip and I wish I could do it again.

Ballons over Waikato

I am doing my digital story on the balloons.
The balloons is an event that happens every year.
Have you ever been? If you have you will know that the theme chages every year.
This year it is fantasy. There is a pirate, a scary house,darth vader and all of the other ones.
Do you know how a hot air balloon works?
Well it is filled with hot air so it rises up and then the wind carries it along in any directon.
So they don't actually steer it.
The balloons can only go 10,000 feet above the ground other wise they will need oxygen masks.
